In accordance with a notice forwarded by the Ministry of Education, the Mainland Affairs Council has recently received reports that certain world maps manufactured in mainland China and available on the market incorrectly label Taiwan as a part of the People's Republic of China under the designation “Taiwan Island.”
To ensure the accuracy of educational content, faculty members are kindly requested to review the teaching materials, maps, presentation slides, and other instructional resources used in their courses. Please avoid using maps or materials containing inaccurate or inappropriate representations, so as to maintain the correctness and integrity of information provided in teaching activities.
