Dear Faculty, Staff, and Students,
To maintain a clean campus environment and ensure orderly bicycle parking, all bicycle owners are requested to attach a red identification ribbon to their bicycles that are still in use by November 20, 2026.
Red identification ribbons are available at the Office of General Affairs, the Main Gate Security Office, and the Side Gate Security Office.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Starting November 20, 2026, bicycles without red identification ribbon will be regarded as no longer in use and will initially be relocated to designated collection areas near campus buildings. They will subsequently be moved to a central collection area beneath the trees on the left side of the Main Gate (within the campus, behind the YouBike station).
The procedures are outlined below.
1. Bicycles Locked Due to Parking Violations
If your bicycle has been locked due to a parking violation, please visit the Accounting Office during regular office hours to pay the bicycle parking violation fee.
After making the payment, please bring your receipt to the Security Office to have the lock removed and retrieve your bicycle.
After retrieving your bicycle, please ensure that a red identification tie is attached by November 20, 2026, to indicate that the bicycle is still in use.
2. Designated Collection Areas for Bicycles Without Red Identification Ribbons
Starting November 20, 2026, bicycles without red identification ribbons will initially be relocated to the designated areas listed below. They will subsequently be moved to the central collection area beneath the trees on the left side of the Main Gate (behind the YouBike station).
- Main Gate: Beneath the trees on the left side of the Main Gate, as viewed when entering the campus.
- Building 1: On the lawn behind the building (northeast side), near Building 6.
- Building 2: Beneath the camphor trees on the north side of the building (toward the North Gate), near the Library.
- Buildings 3 and 7: To the right of the East Main Entrance (on the lawn beneath the trees to the southeast) and to the right of the West Side Entrance (beneath the trees to the northwest).
- Building 6: To the right of the bicycle parking area (on the lawn beneath the trees to the northeast).
- Dormitory Area: In front of the Activity Center, alongside the wall on the right side of the Gymnasium, and next to the bicycle parking area.
- Gymnasium: Beside the concrete pillar near the south entrance of the bicycle parking area.
3. Follow-up Bicycle Removal Procedures
Starting December 1st, 2026, bicycles that remain without red identification ribbons or have not been claimed after being relocated will be handled as abandoned bicycles in accordance with applicable procedures.
To prevent bicycles that are still in use from being mistakenly relocated or removed, all bicycle owners are strongly encouraged to attach the required red identification ties before the deadline.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate the understanding and cooperation of all faculty, staff, and students.
