Subject: Taoyuan City 2026 Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Exercise [8/13(Thursday)14:30-15:00] - Campus Entrance Control Measures During the Exercise

The Taoyuan City 2026 Urban Resilience (Air Defense) Exercise is scheduled for August 13, with an alert to be issued at 2:30 PM and the exercise ending at 3:00 PM.

Control measures during the exercise:

  • Please ensure the safety of both people and property: close all doors and windows, turn off lights, and proceed quietly and orderly to designated air-raid shelters (basement levels of each building).
  • Movement of people and vehicles on campus will be restricted: do not walk around unnecessarily; vehicles should be parked roadside or in parking lots with headlights turned off.
  • All campus gates will be closed to control the entry and exit of people and vehicles (authorized personnel such as exercise evaluators and controllers are permitted to pass).
  • The campus license plate recognition system includes a 30-minute grace period for vehicle entry. Beyond this period, parking fees will be calculated based on the actual entry time. External vehicles are advised to consider arriving earlier or departing later to avoid conflicts during the exercise period.

Sincerely,

Campus Security Squad
