This announcement is a forwarded notice from the Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan, regarding funding applications for the 2026 Africa Elite Talent Development Program.
The program aims to strengthen academic exchange between Taiwan and African countries, enhance the global visibility of Taiwan’s higher education sector, and foster long-term international collaboration.
Eligibility (Institutional Level)
According to the MOE guidelines, eligible applicants must be:
Public universities or officially registered private universities in Taiwan
(excluding Open University and military/police academies)
Institutions with sufficient capacity to deliver English-taught programs, with at least 5% of graduate (Master’s and PhD) courses offered in English
Application Information
Applications must be submitted by the university as an institution, coordinated by a designated responsible unit.
Required documents include:
Project proposal prepared in accordance with the official application format
Detailed budget plan
Submission requirements:
Three hard copies of the bound proposal (including one CD)
Three copies of the budget application form
All materials must be officially submitted to the Ministry of Education by June 5, 2026 (postmark date applies).
Universities are advised to carefully assess the feasibility of project implementation and budget execution prior to submission.
