The University of the West of England, UWE Bristol, will host the 2026 International Summer School – English & Culture Program. The two‑week program includes 30 hours of British culture and communication skills courses, airport pick‑up and drop‑off in London, visits to four major UK cities (London, Oxford, Bath, and Bristol), on‑campus single ensuite accommodation at UWE (shared kitchen, dining room, and common area with weekly room cleaning service), a certificate of participation issued by UWE Bristol, and on‑campus Wi-Fi.
The program fee is partially sponsored by UWE, and participants only need to pay GBP 2,350 (approximately NTD 99,000, excluding airfare and meals). As the number of spots is limited, please assist with sharing the announcement poster and encourage students interested in improving their English skills and learning about British culture to apply as soon as possible. (Participants must be at least 18 years old; only 20 slots are available for Taiwan.)

1.UWE Bristol is one of the UK’s top 10 most popular modern universities, with over 38,000 students and more than 600 degree programs. In 2026, it ranked among the Top 10 Modern Universities (The Sunday Times Good University Guide).
According to The Guardian University Guide 2026, UWE Bristol ranked 39th in the UK, and it was placed within the Top 400 in the 2024 Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
The host city, Bristol, has been voted the Happiest City in the UK, the Most Livable City, the Capital of Arts, and is recognized by the United Nations as a City of Film.
2.UWE Bristol is home to Europe’s largest robotics research center. Its Faculty of Arts, Creative Industries and Education ranks 2nd in the UK; the Business School holds the 25th Palmes of Excellence ranking; programs in Sports Rehabilitation, Nursing Science, and Biomedical Science rank 3rd; and Aerospace Engineering and Architecture rank 7th nationally.
The university collaborates closely with internationally renowned companies such as Rolls‑Royce, Airbus, BBC, Bloomberg, Aardman (winner of six Oscars), Dyson, and many others through mentorship and internship programs.
3.The itinerary also includes travel insurance, an accompanying faculty leader, professional UK tour guides, a welcome dinner, and a campus BBQ event. The program is scheduled for August 2–16, 2026.
The course fee is GBP 2,350 (approximately NTD 99,000). Airfare must be arranged separately. After registration, participants may book the designated flights through the partner travel agency (SET Tour) or arrange their own flights.
4.Eligibility: Students or graduates aged 18 or above from colleges and universities. Limited places are available, and priority will be given to students recommended by UWE Bristol’s partner institutions in Taiwan.
