Subject: Request for Assistance in Announcing the Public Consultation on the “Draft Proposal for the New Selection System of the Government-Sponsored Overseas Study Examination,” Commissioned by the Ministry of Education, as Detailed Below
Description:
The Ministry of Education is currently reviewing possible directions for adjustments to the selection system of the Government-Sponsored Overseas Study Examination. The draft proposal for the revised system is provided in Attachment 1. In order to gather opinions from various sectors, a public consultation is being conducted to serve as a reference for subsequent policy refinement.
The eligible participants, announcement period, and submission method are as follows:
(1) Eligible Participants: University students, faculty members of colleges and universities, or members of the general public who have opinions regarding the new selection system for the Government-Sponsored Overseas Study Examination.
(2) Response Period: From now until April 16, 2026 (Thursday).
(3) Submission Method: Please complete the questionnaire via

or scan the QR code (as shown in Attachment 2).
(4) The public consultation will be conducted on an anonymous basis. No information that may reveal personal identity will be collected during the process. Participants are encouraged to respond candidly.
Kindly assist in forwarding this notice to all colleges, departments, interdepartmental degree programs, and the alumni relations office of your institution for announcement and dissemination.
