Reminder: Summer & Winter Academic Programs Only – International Exchange Scholarship

YZU encourages students to take advantage of summer and winter break (Summer/Winter Programs) to participate in overseas learning and broaden global perspectives 🌏

This scholarship supports academic-based programs only, such as:

  • Language courses
  • Short-term academic or professional programs
  • University-organized summer/winter programs

❌ Programs focused mainly on travel, tours, or recreational activities (e.g., excursions, sightseeing, or entertainment-based trips) are NOT eligible

✈️ Before Departure (Important)

For student-initiated programs, please complete your application:

✅ At least 15 days before departure

Required documents:

  • Form 3

  • Proof of admission
  • Detailed course schedule / program itinerary

⚠️ Late applications (less than 15 days before departure) will not be accepted for funding.

📝 Application Process

Department → College → Office of Global Affairs (Room 70207)

🧳 During the Program

Please keep:

  • Original boarding passes (both departure and return)
  • E-ticket/itinerary (showing detailed flight information)
  • Certificate of Completion

📨 After Returning to Taiwan

Students whose applications are approved are required to submit the following documents:

📅 Within 15 days after returning, or
📅 Within 15 days after the semester begins (if returning during summer/winter break)

📍 Please submit to: Office of Global Affairs (Room 70207), Ms. Pua

Required documents:

  • Original boarding passes (both departure and return)
  • E-ticket itinerary (with detailed flight information)
  • Certificate of completion or official transcript
  • Reflection report (template provided in Form 3)

If you traveled with a non-Taiwanese airline (e.g., airlines other than EVA Air, China Airlines, STARLUX Airlines, or Tigerair Taiwan), you must also submit:

  • Credit transfer/waiver is subject to your department
  • Submitted documents will not be returned
