Shaping Feelings into Books: Sharing Experiences in Picture Book Creation

This talk features Taiwanese picture book illustrator Lin Lian-En, who will share personal experiences in picture book creation. The session explores how everyday feelings, memories, and observations can be transformed into visual narratives and published works. The speaker has been selected for the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition and received the Golden Tripod Award (Book Category) from Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture for the picture book HOME. Faculty members and students interested in illustration, picture books, and visual storytelling are warmly welcome to attend.
