To encourage youth teams to engage in social innovation, sustainable development, and local practice, the competition mentioned above is organized by the Taoyuan City Government’s Youth Affairs Bureau and Social Enterprise Center. The event is dedicated to discovering young people’s innovative potential, promoting the development of social enterprises and impact management, and aligning with international trends.

Competition Features and Highlights:

  1. Centered on the theme of “From Proposal to Implementation, Connecting with Taoyuan’s Local Issues,” this competition integrates prize incentives, training courses, professional mentoring, and resource matchmaking to help teams transform innovative ideas into concrete and feasible social enterprise solutions.
  2. The competition offers a total prize pool of NT$570,000 and provides resources such as professional mentorship, corporate matchmaking, and international certification guidance to assist outstanding teams in expanding their markets, strengthening their business models, and amplifying their social impact.
  3. In particular, winning teams in the Social Enterprise Category will have the opportunity to participate in the “People and Planet First” certification guidance program, helping teams align with international social enterprise standards while enhancing brand visibility and sustainable development capacity.

Competition Information:

(1) Registration Period:
From now until 12:00 noon on Monday, June 22, 2026.

(2) Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Participants must be at least 15 years old.
  2. At least half of the team members must be under the age of 45.
  3. Proposals that have previously won awards may not be submitted again.

(3) Competition Categories:

  1. Social Enterprise Category:
    Participants are required to propose social enterprise plans that utilize innovative business models to address local social issues in Taoyuan while demonstrating potential for sustainable operation.
  2. Social Impact Category:
    This category encourages organizations to assess and present the social impact they have created by submitting a social impact report. Any project that has been implemented and has generated social impact is eligible to participate.

(4) Competition Information Session:
The information session will be held from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the PBL Classroom on the 2nd Floor of the Taoyuan City Government Youth Affairs Bureau (No. 390, Huanbei Rd., Zhongli Dist., Taoyuan City).
