• Topic:

Exploring Academic Ethics in the Age of Generative AI  ( Chinese-language Lecture )

  • Introduce:

The emergence of generative AI has significantly impacted education and academic research, transforming how we learn, conduct research, and write. While it enhances efficiency in data retrieval, translation, and writing, it also raises serious concerns about academic integrity and ethical boundaries.

This session features Prof. Chung-Hsin Chang from the Department of Law at Soochow University, a long-time educator in intellectual property and academic ethics. He will discuss the legal risks of ghostwriting, clarify the appropriate use of generative AI in academic writing, and guide participants in interpreting similarity reports to dispel common misconceptions. The talk will also address the roles and responsibilities of advisors and graduate students in research, aiming to strengthen ethical awareness and academic integrity.

We warmly invite all faculty and students to join this thought-provoking session!
