- Description:This lecture will approach the topic from the perspectives of academic ethics and research integrity, engaging faculty and students in a discussion on ethical issues arising from the use of generative AI tools. Topics include potential ethical concerns associated with generative AI, examples of how AI can assist in research processes as well as violate academic ethics, and key competencies and recommendations for using generative AI in academic research.
