  • Topic: From Animal Testing to Research Integrity and Responsibility: Insights into Farm, Companion, and Laboratory Animals
  • Speaker: Dr. Chien-Kai Wang (Associate Professor, Department of Animal Science, National Chung Hsing University)
  • Introduction: This seminar focuses on animal testing as a core theme to explore how to maintain research integrity throughout the scientific process. It systematically compares the differences in research objectives, experimental designs, and research integrity practices across farm animals, laboratory animals, and companion animals. Through case studies, the session aims to help participants understand the integration of scientific rationality, animal welfare, and research integrity under various animal models. The goal is to cultivate a research mindset that is socially responsible and capable of meeting rigorous review standards.
