- Topic:Copyright Issues of Generative AI and Precautions for Educational Use
- Introduce:
Protecting and applying research outcomes is a cornerstone of academic integrity. Recently, incidents such as plagiarism, redundant publication, and contract cheating have highlighted the critical boundaries between ethics and law. While Generative AI offers transformative potential for research and teaching, it also brings complex challenges regarding copyright ownership and academic standards.
To address these concerns, the Office of R&D has invited Attorney Chen-Ching (Arthur) Liu from E-S-S Law Office to speak. As an expert recommended by the Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) and a lecturer at NTUA, Attorney Liu brings extensive legal and teaching experience. This seminar will analyze the legal ownership of AI-generated content and provide practical guidance for the classroom. Join us and learn how to be a "smart user" of AI!
