- Introduce:Generative AI has become an essential tool for research, teaching, and administrative work. Understanding responsible AI applications is crucial for safeguarding your rights and mitigating compliance risks. Starting from relevant legal foundations and core principles, this seminar will introduce the Artificial Intelligence Basic Act promulgated in early 2026, as well as the European Union’s AI transparency labeling obligations that came into effect in August 2026. It will analyze recent legal disputes and address statutory rights—such as copyright—to illustrate how to effectively leverage legal resources including Creative Commons (CC) licenses and Open Data.
