The "River as Before" Design Thinking Workshop began at Tatung University in 2025 and expanded to Tunghai University in 2026. It has attracted students from more than 40 schools so far. This year, the event will take place at National Tsing Hua University from June 27 to June 28, creating a collaborative network that spans different campuses and fields.
This year, the workshop has been completely upgraded. It brings together top faculty, facilitators, local NPOs, enterprises, and river experts to lead participants into the field to identify key river issues and propose innovative solutions. Additionally, a total grant of over 150,000 TWD will be provided to help turn these ideas into reality. This is more than just a workshop. It is an invitation to step into the rivers, understand them, and find new possibilities for environmental sustainability together.

- Target Audience: Currently enrolled students in universities, colleges, and senior high or vocational schools
- Accommodation Location: Li Tsun-Min Building (Green Energy Building), National Tsing Hua University (Each participant will receive a complimentary sleeping bag, excluding a pillow)
- Event Fee: Free admission, which includes accommodation, meals, snacks, and beverages
