Subject: Announcement of Priority Housing Application for Domestic Students for the 115th Academic Year

Explanation:

1. Important Notes:

(1) Students applying for on-campus housing are required to stay for two semesters and pay the annual housing fee in two installments (except for students without official enrollment status).

Early termination requires prior approval. Without approval, the housing deposit and relevant housing fees will not be refunded. Exceptions may be granted for approved special circumstances (e.g., graduation, suspension, withdrawal, transfer, internship, exchange, or force majeure).

All dormitory rooms accommodate four students. Applicants are advised to carefully consider their adaptability to communal living and their physical and mental health conditions before applying.

(2) Applicants must prepare the Student Housing Agreement Declaration Form in advance. Approved applicants must submit the signed form to the Student Housing Service Section within the announced deadline; otherwise, the housing eligibility will be forfeited.

(3) Approved applicants must personally check in. Impersonation is strictly prohibited. Violators will have their housing assignment revoked and be subject to university regulations.

2. Eligibility:

Students enrolled in the 115th academic year who meet the requirements of Article 7 of the Yuan Ze University Student Dormitory Management Regulations may apply. Dormitory priority is granted in the following order:

(1)Students with pre-approved housing priority: dormitory committee members, network administrators, and university sports team members.

(2) Students verified by the Office of Student Affairs:

  • Those with mobility limitations or special medical conditions
  • Students living alone in Taiwan (including outlying islands)
  • Students from financially disadvantaged families
  • Students with special circumstances approved by the Office of Student Affairs
  • Children of active-duty military personnel

3. Application Period: March 9 to March 12. Late applications will not be accepted.

4. Application Procedure: Submit the completed Priority Housing Application Form, along with supporting documents, to the Student Housing Service Section.

(1) Students with physical disabilities or special medical conditions:

 Submit relevant medical certification documents.

(2) Students residing alone in Taiwan (including offshore islands):

 Submit a copy of the Household Registration Transcript for the entire household. The registered residence must have been established for at least six months.

(3) Students from financially disadvantaged families:

 Submit a Low-Income Household Certificate issued by the local township/city/district office. Certificates issued by village or neighborhood leaders will not be accepted.

(4) Students with special circumstances approved by the Office of Student Affairs:

Submit supporting documents relevant to the special circumstances.

5. Announcement of Review Results: March 18, 2026 (Wed.).

6. Submission of Dorm Deposit and Student Housing Agreement:

March 19 – 23,2026.

(Students are required to download the payment slip and complete the payment. Detailed instructions will be announced on March 18.)

7. On-Campus Housing Subsidy Program(Domestic Student ONLY):

To reduce students’ housing expenses and support their academic studies, the Ministry of Education will implement the On-Campus Housing Subsidy Program for University and College Students starting from February of the 113th Academic Year. The subsidy principles and application procedures are as follows:
