As temperatures rise and with the current water shortage period, the risk of Dengue Fever and Chikungunya transmission increases. To ensure a safe and healthy campus environment, all students and faculty members are requested to cooperate with the following preventive measures:

  • Environmental Protection: Please regularly inspect your personal seating areas and surrounding environments. Strictly follow the "Search, Tip, Clean, and Scrub" (巡、倒、清、刷) routine. Regularly remove unnecessary containers to prevent stagnant water from becoming mosquito breeding grounds.
  • Key Inspections: If you notice any accumulated water in open spaces, construction sites, or recycling areas on campus, please report it immediately to the Office of General Affairs or relevant departments for treatment.
  • Personal Health Management
    • When outdoors, it is recommended to wear light-colored, long-sleeved clothing and pants, or use government-approved insect repellents.
    • If you experience suspicious symptoms such as fever, headache, pain behind the eyes, muscle/joint pain, or a skin rash, please seek medical attention immediately. Be sure to inform the doctor of your recent travel and contact history.
  • Reporting Protocol: After seeking medical care, it is mandatory to notify the Health center . This allows the university to provide necessary follow-up assistance and fulfill legal reporting requirements.

For more information, please visit the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC) website or call the communicable disease prevention hotline at 1922.
