Influenza is an acute respiratory infection caused primarily by influenza viruses (types A and B). It is highly contagious, develops rapidly, and can easily lead to cluster infections. Seasonal outbreaks commonly occur during the autumn–winter and spring months each year.

Usually comes on suddenly, and common symptoms include：

Main transmission routes:
1、Droplet transmission (when coughing or sneezing)
2、Contact transmission (touching virus-contaminated objects and then touching the nose or mouth)
After infection, symptoms appear within 1–4 days. The person is contagious one day before symptoms appear, and the contagiousness is strongest 5–7 days after onset.

2、Wash hands frequently (with soap for more than 20 seconds).
3、Wear a mask when symptoms appear.
4、Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth.
5、Maintain good indoor ventilation.
6、Wear a mask in crowded places.
7、Avoid going to public places, work, or school when sick.
