The Lunar New Year holiday is a time for family reunions and gatherings with friends. However, increased travel and social activities may also raise the risk of spreading respiratory and gastrointestinal illnesses. By practicing a few simple healthy habits, we can enjoy a safe and happy New Year together.

1. Rest well and avoid gatherings if you feel unwell

If you experience symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, or diarrhea, it is recommended to avoid social gatherings, visits, or large events. Please seek medical care when necessary and allow yourself adequate rest to protect both your own health and that of others.

2. Wear a mask in crowded or enclosed spaces

Wearing a mask on public transportation, during indoor gatherings, or in crowded places can help reduce the risk of disease transmission. Please use masks appropriately based on your health condition.

3. Practice good hand hygiene and ensure food safety

Wash your hands thoroughly after returning home, before meals, and after using the restroom. During group meals, it is recommended to use serving utensils and avoid sharing tableware to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal infections.
Please remember to keep raw and cooked foods separate, cook food thoroughly, and avoid consuming undercooked or improperly heated food.
Follow the seven steps of proper handwashing: palms, backs, between fingers, backs of fingers, thumbs, fingertips, and wrists.

4. Maintain good ventilation to reduce the buildup of germs

During indoor activities or family gatherings, please open windows or ensure adequate ventilation to lower the risk of disease transmission.

5. Maintain a regular routine and balanced diet to strengthen immunity

During the holiday period, please maintain regular daily routines, eat a balanced diet, drink enough water, and get sufficient sleep to support overall health.

💖 Let us start with small daily habits to protect our health and welcome the New Year with peace of mind and well-being.
