Subject: Call for Nominations: Experts and Scholars for the 7th Environmental Impact Assessment Review Committee, Taoyuan City Government

- In accordance with Taoyuan City Government Letter No. 11502391521 dated August 26, 2026.
- The Taoyuan City Government is accepting nominations for expert and scholar members of the 7th Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Review Committee from now until September 16, 2026. Qualified faculty and staff members are welcome to apply or recommend suitable candidates.
- Eligibility Criteria (Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements):
- Has worked as a professional engineer in EIA-related fields for more than 5 years.
- Has served as a full or associate professor at an institution of higher education for at least 3 years, or as an assistant professor for at least 5 years.
- Has served in a government agency at or above the 10th senior rank, overseeing EIA-related affairs for at least 3 years.
- Has served as a member of an EIA review committee in any government authority for at least 2 years.
- Has served as the head of an environmental non-profit organization for at least 3 years.
- Possesses other special expertise recognized by the Taoyuan City Government.
- Important Notes:
- In line with gender equality policies, female experts and scholars are prioritized for recommendation.
- Interested applicants or nominators must submit the completed recommendation form to the Personnel Office by September 16, 2026, for institutional endorsement and submission.
