[Policy Notice] Compliance with Administrative Neutrality and Educational Neutrality During the 2026 Local Public Officials Election

- In accordance with Ministry of Education Letter No. 1150087887 dated August 27, 2026, and Ministry of Civil Service Letter No. 1156000459 dated August 26, 2026.
- The Central Election Commission and local election commissions issued notices for the 2026 local public officials election on August 20, 2026. To ensure lawful administration, impartial execution of duties, and campus tranquility, all faculty and staff members are required to strictly adhere to the following guidelines:
- Observe Administrative and Educational Neutrality: University personnel must not use their position, administrative resources, official relationships, or official titles to support or oppose any specific political party or candidate during the election period.
- Maintain a Neutral Educational Environment: Pursuant to Article 6 of the Educational Fundamental Act, the university shall maintain neutrality. No political promotional activities are allowed on campus, and no personnel or students shall be forced to join any political party or activity.
- Prohibition of Campaign Visits on Campus: In accordance with Article 13 of the Civil Servants Administrative Neutrality Act, political parties, candidates, or their supporters are prohibited from visiting office or teaching spaces on campus for campaigning or canvassing from the election announcement date until election day.
